Jose Morelos, professionally known as Jo-Z, is a multidisciplinary designer, creative director, and music-industry professional whose career spans more than a decade working directly with artists, producers, record labels, and touring productions. His work has encompassed album artwork, branding, visual identity, marketing, merchandise, tour creative, production, and creative direction for projects across the electronic, industrial, and alternative music scenes.
A longtime creative partner of Lords of Acid, Jo-Z has worked on every tour since 2011 and has become a trusted authority on the band's visual identity, overseeing branding, marketing, merchandise, venue materials, and tour campaigns. His work with the band has expanded into album design and production, including the Smoking Hot greatest-hits collection, the Special Remastered Band Editions of their classic catalog, and a Co-Executive Producer credit on the band's Pretty in Kink album. His portfolio also includes work with projects such as Primitive Race and collaborations with internationally recognized artists and producers including Praga Khan.
Beyond his individual creative work, Jo-Z is a Recording Academy member and GRAMMY voter, participating in the peer-driven process of nominating and voting on music's highest honors.
